It looks half ok if you squint, but then so does Michael Jackson...
I'd put the drill away and get out the jigsaw and try and salvage the front bar by making a hollow cut out and making up a mesh grille

Get the jig saw out and cut the rest of it out, give it a proper grill.

& the holes look better in person ..imo..but still not what i was aiming at . thanks for the "good & bad" comments .. dave ....
