what is ideal compression ratio for a ef i6 motor (in psi and kpa) asap response would really help thanx all :D :lol: :wink: :mrgreen:

standard compression ratio is 9.3:1

cylinder pressure is 1010kpa or 146psi for a stock engine give or take

As mentioned, min pressure to be not below 1010kpa, max diff between pressures not to exceed 100kpa.
For comparison figures, I checked mine last week - 1325kpa plus/minus 25kpa - EL I6 220000 km.
