Go the mighty blue oval!!!! Lowndes is a legend and what better prize for a legend than a trophy named after a true legend Peter Brock. R.I.P. bring on the rest of the season. :D

what i always find amazing is the cars that make it through to win and place, always seem untouched. not a scratch on them. top 5 all went through the day without an incident (richo had a little oil overflow but nothing major). hows the drive by james courtney. lowndes was awesome but you expect that of him and whincup has shown this year that he can handle pressure but i thought courtney did a fantastic job. seton did what he had to do but wasn't exactly going forward, just staying out of trouble. courtney made us all forget that its only his second time at the mountain and first in a ford. wasn't that long ago and he was struggling mid pack. shows he's getting a handle on the cars and the tracks and hopefully sbr has refound some of the form it had last 3 years. too bad fpr got reliability issues as they had been ominous in the lead up.

well done lowndes, ford and triple 8.

Skaife's problem wasnt the car... just too much Jack Daniel's hahahaha rofl

Ford has done it!!, should have seen all the holden fans at my place when the Ford's came home, poor buggers we so disapointed.

Judging by all the hit the wall incidents by Holden's, the FORDS handle alot better!!!!

i was up there... watched the whole race just up 150metres from hells corner.. on the right hand side.. bloody awesome!! hanging the ford flag over the wire fence cheering on lowndes and the other fords on those last seven laps.. just after the finish of the race i jumped the wire fence and ran down to hells corner and then along to pit straight.. flying the ford flag hi above my head as i was running.. i was directly under the balcony when the presentations was on.. got sprayed by champaign.. and was so close i could see lowndsy's teers.. ... i was sooo proud and could see in person how much it meant to him.. i do admit i had 2 teers running down my face... and so did other guys around me.. Was great ford breaking the loosing streak.. Butt this win meant so much more than normal... i will never forget this day.. :)
