I've read the Painting Plastics doco on this site many a times over the last few years and have finally decided to pull the finger out and give it a red hot go.
But i am having a little bit of trouble finding the paint and primers. Can anyone give me a point in the right direction? Cheers And also, the 4.0 decal on the side strips, where can i get those from? does ford sell them? I will try and paint them up at the same time. If not i might just stencil something up |

For the 4.0 "Decal" It's just a vinyl sticker go to a sign writing place and ask em to make sone up should be too exspensive

you can get the 4.0 stickers on ebay for ef-el, not that expensive, I got some when I did my sons car

mheh, i might stencil up a custom "4.0 I6" badge and spray that on then clean coat the lot!!
still need to find paint though... |

autobarn will mix paint into a pressure pack.
other than that just try some local panel shops, they should tell you where they get their paint from

sorry bout the belated response. i rang them the other week, and although the 2 cairns mobs couldnt help me, they did point me to supercheap, where i subsequently found the stuff i needed anyway! lol
i've run out of time for the moment, but i will try this mod some time later on. cheers for the help |

yeah cheers mate, as i said in above post, thats were the paint shops said to try as well. and i found it there!
