Im about to run a NL Fairlane wiring loom through my NC, is there any plug differences i should be aware of on the engine before i begin, or is a NC 5.0 the same as a NL 5.0?

It should be the same, untill you get to the ECU.
Pretty sure they have different numbers of pins on EECV to EECIV
