							Gday,

A mate has a holley 7psi electronic fuel pump for sale. Just wondering what the advantages of an electric pump over a mechanical are. Im running a carby and have no current fuel issues that im aware of. In the manual it says that the elec pump does not pulse like a mechanical one, does this make a difference? Thanks

Not really, but it is easier to fit an immobilizer that cuts the fuel pump.

Also when you have them fitted, its a good idea to have an oil pressure switch to turn them on and when in the crank position, have them pumping too.

Thanks. I think I'll stick with the mechanical pump then.
