Hi guys, has anyone ever converted their barn doors on a panelvan to a tailgate and lift up window hatch? I want to do this and any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

havent heard or seen of anyone doing it before.

i suppose if you could weld your 2 doors together and work the hinges out ok at the top it *shouldnt* be too difficult.

Sorry i just re-read the post. you would probably have to start from scratch and make custom gate/hatch.

try and pickup a ute tailgate, see if that fits. if it does, you cold use a canopy top half rear door/windowy thingy i guess!
