my bf's Holden VZ Calais (yes i drive it.. but its still a nice car tho...) can open all 4 doors; or drivers door then rem 3 doors.

its a nifty little thing in my opinion, but gotta get the hang of the buttons to get it to do what you want - easy when you know how of course.

i like it when its set to drivers door then the rest - coz ya can stop your mates getting in - even more fun when its raining of course.

What kinda car? If its a falcon, hold lock and unlock at the same time till the blinkers flash after about 5 or 10 seconds. That turns it on and off. You've gotta do it to both remotes though for the car to turn the feature off on both.

I have just realised that my dad's Cougar does this - one button for two stage unlocking and another for locking the car. There is also a boot release button too.
