							jsut enqiring if any1 knows that in the xf u have like a steel box or wall plate welded in on a slope in behind the seats wat is behind there as i wanna put in twin 12's within it jsut curious if i can cut it out....

							it is bracing if you cut it or remove it your car will be unroadworthy, same as if you cut the parcil shelf
 the best place to fit a sub is under the cover in the tub, box it and port it into the cab, i did this in my XG ute and it sounded awsome i used a single twelve inch sub.. | |||

Not going to argue with this (as it is true) but I have mounted a 12 inch sub and two 6*9s where you are talking about and never had any trouble with roadworthiness. Had trouble with cops putting noise abatement notices on me since though

I cut mine out in my xh, have 2 10" subs behind each seat, passed 2 roadies since then, all i had to do was wels two 15x25 square steel from top to bottom of wall to add strength into it. Never caused me a problem, dont now if its totally legal but hey so far so good

							cheers boys im sure i will take into account all things i think cutting into the back of the pllate wud be easiest n least time consuming.
