Opened the glove box the switch is there, but no light.

Hoping you guys can shed some light on the subject... sorry about the poor pun.

AFAIK there is no light in my XG S either. I'll have a look at it tonight and see if maybe I just have a dud globe.

Light Bulb is at end of switch. Pull switch out, and light bulb should be in the end of it.
