Is there much difference between eagle and scat cranks?
I am looking at 3.85" cast ones.

There shouldn't be but I'd get a Scat any day over an eagle.

Yep I'd agree with Pete.
From what I've been told both are cast in China  but the Scat is machined in the US and the Eagle is done in China, so take you pick but I have a 9000 Scat and it miched up perfect.

Yeh i heard that some ppl had drama's with eagle cranks as they werent up to scratch in sizes.
Look's like the chinamen are sleeping on the machines LOL

I have a Scat 9000 series crank for my 383, engine machinist was very impressed with its quality and finish.
I dont know anything about Eagle gear, so I will pass on commenting on them. |
