Hi all, just got the "good news" that the head is shot in my ef. Wanted to know any tip /tricks with these replacements. Would prefer new but may have to go a recon - any real diffrencce? What is the go with performance upgrades? Who stocks these heads. Car is mainly a daily driver for the missus but would like to trick it up..
Cheers |

Do you know what is wrong with your head? Most of the common problems can be fixed and if you get it done yourself at least you know its done right.

Exactly right. If it's just a headgasket then you can do the job yourself for around the $200 - $300 mark including all gaskets and head work.
