can someone tell me an easy way to replace the crankshaft rear oil seal. ive tried heating it, oiling it and beating the s**t out of it but it still wont go in.

check if it is the correct one the xf falcons had 2 types early and late
and about 1 mm diff between the 2

yea look on the LHS of the block near the coil, if the number starts with 84DA u want the early XF rear main, if it is 86DA u want the late XF rear main (same as an e-series i beleive)

all the one ive done went in without problem i use a soft rubber hammer to replace them but here other ways to do it
