Just got the rocker gear off and HLA's out and noticed thers already shims in the rockers.....I just got a set to put in with a old 1604 i have.....Do i need to put two in ??? Better to be safe than sorry!

most regrind cams require an additional shim to be placed below the existing (1) shim giving a total of 2 shims

I only put 1 additional shim into each when I installed a 1604 originally. That gave a total of 2 shims per.
