Doing a 5 speed conversion on my V8 NF fairlane and wondering if i can use the manual pre smartlock ECU in it.
Will it work if i disabled the smartlock or am i better of using the auto ECU
and tricking the trans module. :?:

I'm doing the same thing. EB ECU won't work. Either chip your ECU, get an EF/EL Manual ECU or trick the ECU.

Trick ecu or you will create a nightmare that wont work properly.
