I know its not a ford but this is the best forum ive found..
I added some injector cleaner to the fuel of my car (83 mercedes 500sec v8) and let it idle for a bit it seemed okay, revved it up a bit seemed ok, took it for a drive and it was okay until i went to goa round a corner where it just had no balls at all. I nearly had to floor it to get it to go 15kmh around the corner.

Should this happen? Im a bit worried

could be that the cleaner has stired up some s**t in the fuel tank
and blocked the fuel filter

Dont panic it seems fine now after a big drive and its smooth as silk

or it may have pushed some crap up into an injector and it just had to clear it out

or it has done its job (for once) but the ecu is a bit behind
