Go for a Textralia, work great with the 8's, take a lot of punishment and it's not too heavy

mal wood automotive. mal has clutch kits for all the 6 speed and 5 speed manual boxes. look at my pics in my gallery, im running 300rwkw with the opt 3 clutch and it grips hard. its actually easier on the foot than the stock one.

Depends how you drive it and what kinda power you have. A Tex single plate Z grip ($1850 + fitting) is happy to be driven light or hard and will handle lots of punishment without compromising life span. Most after market clutches will see about a years worth of driving if you like to give it a hard time. So it's upto you if you wanna spend a lil bit extra on a Tex or Mal Wood that will last a while and take whatever you throw at it or buy a cheapo one which will have to get replaced more often. I've had my Tex clutch for nearly 2 years and there's still plenty of meat left on it

Have a look at www.textralia.com.au and see if there's anyone local that can do it, otherwise maybe give Chris from Bluepower a call and he might be able to recommend someone

Ripshifters are good to have and worth it. I had a Billet Quickshift on mine before and it was nothing but trouble so i don't recommend them, so if you're in the market for one i would only suggest a Ripshift. I had a play with my mates turbo with a 6 speed man in it and the throws were so long, but thanks to the turbo he doesn't need quick shifts. But it's a diff story in a v8.
My car's a lil battered atm thanks to idiots who can't drive! But here's some pics www.bseries.com.au/punktured |

![]() While my car was broken a while back i got Craig's (from ACE) xr8 ute which had all the goods on it except for 4.10 lsd at the time and it was an enjoyable car to drive, but f**k i missed my car, it was making 255rwkw and did a pass of 12.15 in race trim but had not guts down low! To really get a boss off the line good they need 4.10 diff gears (3.7 for 5 speed manual) |

Mmm from memory i think you'll be revving at about 2200rpm, not too sure on what the fuel economy would be like
