my el ghia has 160000 on the clock, running smoothly with 2.5 inch berkley cat and exhaust and k and n panel filter and au11 xr8 intake.

is this too many kms to start fiddling with the timing. also, is the factory exhaust manifold any scratch or should i go extractors?

can i go 15 flat for the 400 with just these mods?

160 kms is nothing for these motors. I would advance timing by 4 degrees and with your mods you should expect a low 15 pass as you have the tickford 162kw engine and a few minor mods.

why do people think 160 000 to 300 000 k's is bad for these engines,they are built to last and with a bit of tlc can rack up a million k's no problems.
