K mac rings a bell, if i recall correctly they used to take the cheapest shocks and springs and paint them orange and call them their own. A long file with the department of fair trading. Might have been some other company though. Are they based in south sydney?

Say if i purchase a set of king springs, dobinson, lovells and get standard front height and low on the rear can i in the future get them compressed say half an inch????

Getting them heated, compressed, re-tempered and repainted would cost as much or more than new ones.

The rear upper spring rubber seats could be thinned to lower the height, you could probably get 1/2 inch, but somewhat increased NVH.

I also add that most Koni shocks can actually be serviced and/or modified by a competent home mechanic with the right directions.

Simple things would be to replace the oil, seals, change the footvalve (compression damping), and/or flip the rebound washer for more rebound.
