Hey Guys,
Just replaced my tyres and got told that I need to get my ball joints - upper and lower and lower control arm bushes replaced. Cost $400. Am I getting ripped?? If I could get a few ideas. Thanks again Az

that's about the right price. the all important questions are who told you it needed to be done, is there anything to suggest they all need to be done?

The car is an XG Ute and the reason I got told to get it done was I had tyres on the front that were totally bald on the insides on the tyres.
NOT GOOD. I was told by a wheel alignment specialist in melb.

get a price for the lower control arms from ford they used to be about
$80 each brand new with bushes and balljoints top ball joints are about $30 each then do it yourself not to hard to do. |

i did the complete front end on my old ZJ fairlaine the parts alone cost around $300.
