I have just got my flash tuner and big mouth cold air for my xr8. I have no other mods done to the car. I was just wondering if you can run 98 octain in these cars with no other mods?

you can run 98 in your lawn mower if you like!! the problem comes from when you run to poor a quality of fuel for the engine and you get detonation.

if your flash tune has advanced the spark then i would personally run a higher octane fuel, but i am definitely don't have the knowledge of of some of the others in here on the topic
