My side badges were peeling too, and I took them off... left an outline but a quick polish fixed that...

One of my boot badges has cracks in the chrome and ive thought about pulling them off too...
I've seen a couple photos and it looks neat, but I've got a towbar so it probably wont look as neat as what ive seen...

mine did that too. i am currently getting them made out of stainless, and then POLISH! ohh yeah.
