Search my user name and you're likely to find posts about this. This has been discussed so many times it's not funny anymore.

I realised this but as i am new to this site i didn't know who to ask. thanks for the reply, i've purchased NCII LTD V8 as i throught it would be easier to do the modification with a complete car to work off. It worked out to be cheaper anyway.

No worries, obtaining a donor car certainly is easier so you're on the right track there.
The only reason I suggested my user name is that I know I have replied many times about this and it seems the search function only works on user names.
Happy conversions :D

Seems to all be going well so far there is one thing that i might need some help with though... i've put the complete LTD wiring loom in to the ED so every wire from under the bonnet and the loom behind the dash (ED Dash was in better nick)... i came across a bendex ABS computer in the LTD which is also part of the ecu loom... i've moved the ABS computer over to the ED and plugged it in just in case it won't let the motor run with out it? i'm not putting the pump or anything in though. is that ok or will it course probs?

Cheers

Don't think it will matter.. i don't have abs in my ef and i have converted it to a v8 with a el2 xr8 doner car.

The only sorta trouble i had was when i went to start it nothing happened.. i had to leave the car for over 1/2 hour with they key on for the ecu to recognise the new car if that makes any sense!

have fun!
