as far as i know its as stock as a rock, although it beat a manual XR6 when it was auto, with a chick behind the wheel :P so who knows, it may be a freak motor or something lol.

i was bored and had a spare tail light and i also had a $2.50 can of spray paint from cheap as chips so i thought id get creative. i dont think it looks that great.... im getting the EF ones properly tinted soon. (just for the record the custom EL one isnt gonna be on the car when its moving, lol.

What did you use for the clutch pedal in your conversion? malwood clutch pedal pin?

nah i made my own out of a 5/8 bolt, nut and washers. probably not the best idea, lol.

it was working fine, but was something else that caused it to break. not too sure what it is yet.

LOL no worries mate, but if your going to take it out now anyway see if you can sort this one out.

lol i finally got myself a gear boot, and installed the shortened shift lever i got in the mail this morning.

the lever has a VT Commodore 5 speed knob on it, and it was stuck on there good, so i took the grommet out of the top of the gearboot, took the bottom of the lever (the rubber mounting bit) apart so i could slide it on (it JUST fit through lol), then stretched the opening of the gearboot over the grommet of the VT knob, and tied it on real good with a zip tie.

i daresay it looks almost factory :D

havent gotten around to doing the wiring yet, been busy with other things lately.

i think ive got a single din one lying around in the shed somewhere, thats another "i'll do it tomorrow" thing lol.

i actually like the feel of the VT knob better than an E series one.
