What is included in this $7400 tunning (new Haltech?), did you get an itemised bill as by the sound of it you paid for there f**k ups.
Nice car mate, other than being ripped off for the tunning don't worry about the negatives from BAA (sheep) owners or lovers.

What boost is it making 226 on?
I would get a new tuner, 7400 for an ECU supply, fit and tune is ridiculous.

I asked to run no more than 10 pound of boost that was for reliability and the way i drive.
The car drives great, I thought it would wheel spin a bit but combined with the ultra low king springs seems ok expect for the axial tramp it gets on launches. The car had this problem before the turbo was put on. As of Wednesday night the car surges bad I think its the fuel pump as it is still stock! (another thing the tuner was supposed to put in). The car drives fine under no boost but as soon as u try to give it some it surges bad. The car run a 15.2@ 95mph before and it ran a 13.8@ 101mph on Saturday night at the townsville drag strip.

Get a new tuner, sounds like he flat out does not know what the f**k he is doing.

The T5 manuals are weak as piss I just wrecked mine. and wasn't even doin a skid.

my mate has spent over 50gs on his au ute. ba bonnet buldge, hard lid with a buldge, 19 inches of crome, dumped on its a***, big brake upgrade, full interior retrim, dvd player, snort stage 3 turbo currently makin 249rwkw on 9 psi tuned by a cappa flash tuner

sorry to say be he got ripped off. 50g's will get you a bf2 typhoon.
I would expect a hell of a lot more car if I spent 50 grand.

Got new parts for gear box in and goin now. 2nd gear was the one to let go, but me not liking to do things twice I replaced the lot.
The car's still playin up and me tuner doesn't want to know me so who do people know between Cains and Mackay that I should try next. any help here would be great as I've lost trust lately  . lol
The car has a haltech E6X in it. Cheers.

Cheers. possibly try Leigh Holman in Cairns. I used to race go-karts with him. ray hall is also in cairns and does a lot of turbo stuff, not sure if he does tuning or not though. |
