The bloke who owns the company I brought the 10 mm plate off did say there was a place in wollonong that would have some big off cuts . His directions weren't the best but ill give it another go at finding them or might go back and ask him again .

I found it . I remember him writing it on the invoice lol no street address just "opposite such and such "

That's where I went to get the alloy he was the one that told me about the other place .
Went there today but they close at 3:30 same time as I finish work .

Purchased a ba hydraulic set up from FTG auto salvage .
This pic is from benj's build thread but mine will be the same . If I knew they came like this I would of brought one ages ago . Would of saved me f**k around making one .  It's obvious now that Malwood just modify and paint this to fit ea-au pedal boxes

There is a shop on Nolan St in Unanderra, right near the train tracks and there is also Bouler Uddenholm which is where Hamar used to be near the brad factory just before the Berkley Turnoff. Another option is Wolongong Sheet Metal which is directly opposite Kenwalls in town (corner of Atchison and Ellen streets). If you want we can go halves in a big sheet cause I need to build a box plenum for the fordrunner too. Will 3mm sheet be alright or is it safe to go slightly thicker? |

Gm alumium is still open he wants $165 for a big sheet of 3mm .
I haven't tried that place at unanderra yet . Will be very hard for me to get to wollonong sheet metal as they open / close the exact time I finish work . What thickness did u want to go ? I only want 3mm sheet .

Ill try duck out of work on Monday and see what wollonong sheet metal have in there scrap Bin , they said I could have any off cuts .

No worries mate .
I think I now know why my car was maxing out at 8psi . I don't think it was the fuel reg but the fuel pump . I brought it off eBay . It's a Aeroflow copy of the Bosch 023 I have read they were good but maybe I got a dud. Anyway I got a genuine 044 and surge tank . So the aeroflow will fill the surge tank and 044 will supply the injectors

hey mate, looks neat just an idea, put a raised up section around the bbm ports so if any oil comes in with the air it'll pool in the bottom and not get sucked back into the motor

It's a good idea but since I'm not plumbing back my catch can oil in the intake isn't an issue
