Nah haven't tried yet , gonna clean all the main battery leads so I get better current flow , think its ole of the reasons why I only get a few cranks from the battery

Nah none yet . It's pretty much done. Just have to make up an air box for turbo ( don't want a pod ) either from a vs or vx airbox .then have to start it .
ATM I've been working on the tow vehicle which will obviously tow the xr6 to the tuners. I had a GQ 4.2 diesel 35s 5" lift. But i rolled it . So I found a GU 2.8 for cheap with no motor or box so everything from my GQ will be going in the GU along with a turbo . It will stay N/A for a bit . Then turbo .

Going to start this on the weekend , have a few little things to do then will be ready for a tune in a week or 2 . Tune is getting done at micks Motorsports

Fuk you really did a job on the gq. Lucky the gu didn't have the 2.8 still in it. I dont think they are even worth using as a boat anchor lol.

The gu is almost finished it drives , just needs a few little things to be perfect .
The 2.8 is a s**t motor lol Im running 37s and I doubt the 2.8 would turn them haha The 4.2 is N/A atm it turns them ok . Once a turbo is on should be much better to drive .

I almost bought a shorty last week with 37s but it was a straight gas 4.2. 37s are becoming popular. I suppose with so many fukwits rutting out tracks with 35s these days you need 37s

Only reason I went 37s was because the 2.8 had 4.6 diff ratios . Which are perfect for 35s , since I'm adding a turbo 37s aren't going to make much difference .
Yea alot of the tracks are rutted out , most guys with 33s are having trouble getting thru bog holes n that cos more people are getting bigger tyres .

Got it started today , it's running rich . Plenum is making a very loud hissing sound , like a vacuum leak , any ideas ? I can't see it being a vacuum leak as I used a steel gasket and silicon .
Unless its just the air inside the plenum making the noise
