haha, might as well do as much work on your cars at work while you can, gotta fill in time somehow.

Have you got any cams laying around for falcon six? If so what ones and how much if you want to get rid of it?

If u asked bout 2 weeks ago I just sold a wade 1673, I do have my old cam, won't make much difference, and I have a 1521a but that's for me  if ur after a cam u can get one off wade for 150 or so plus an exchange cam, or there's plenty of other cam suppliers,
I had the 1673 in my ef auto, it went good bit laggy down low tho, 977b is good in a manual can't wait for head work,

Yeah Im making mine manual soon, have a complete ef 5sp sitting there doing nothing, so Im gonna get rid of the laggy pos auto, was thinking bout trowing in a cam at the same time, will see what happens, what are you doing with the 977b once you put in the 1521a?

Well I'll see how both cams go with the worked head, being the 1521a a bigger cam I'd rather that but some people have had a 1521a and 977b and took the 977b as it was more torquey, so I'll see how it goes , whichever cam I choose I'll sell the other

Thanks mate, joe suggested a vernier gear to help with the down low power and a BA snorkel, I'm aiming for 160 Rwkw

So am I. I didn't expect anywhere near 160, I was expecting 140 -145 at the most. I think a good engine, gearbox and diff play a good part in it too, since my car was and still is well looked after.
