I think you guys got the wrong impression of what I did . I didn't cut anywhere near the cat. Lol

Ok, jack the car up and sit it on stands. Undo the trailing arm bolts then lower the diff. The spring will fall off. Now seat it on the bottom rubber and slowly jack the diff back up once it nearly seats on the top you make sure it fits and hasnt moved from the bottom. Jack the diff all the way up and it should be seating on the bottom and top rubber. Its not hard?
Redo all the trailing arm bolts once the car is off the stands level on the ground and its good to go? Pm me if you actually need a hand. Im free tuesday during the day and i can help ya if you want. |

It's actually pretty quite . Well from inside. Out side i've heard it's kinda loud. And it sounds good too. No drone or anything . It never had a rear muffler so cutting it never made a difference .
Yea just cable tied the tail pipe to stop it flopping around lol. Next exhaust I'll get will be a 3" so I can fit my 3" cat .

Hahahaha thats funny as. I'm guessing the 3inch will be fitted when the turbo comes on?? But how will you go about the diff pipe??

I might get the 3" soon . As you can see I could do with a new exhaust lol
I'm not sure how it goes over the diff. Maybe it's 2.5" over the diff. I sent tuff car parts a email about it so il find out soon .

yeah let me know what you do about the exhuast am interested in fixing mine lol dont really wanna rip it off where you did did it to my mums and she only had the standard 2 1/4inch exhuast on her futura and that thing was as loud as my car is not so dont really want the vibration like she had going through the car.yoour's isnt too bad its manual you can decide when you want the noise mines auto i have no choice lol

Mine doesn't vibrate . Suprisingly it's not as bad as you'd think. And yer mines manual .

Hahaha yeah the manual is more controlable auto vibrates like a mother f*cker thank f*ck you've got a manual. I will pull mine off there too but I know I will end up getting defected.
