Lol nah. It rained here a few weeks back, and where I worked then had a 500mtr long dirt driveway that just turned into a slosh pit. Just haven't been bothered to clean it all out lol

Quick update!
Okay, so yesterday I had the towbar removed.
Image

Speaking to the guy on eBay about how much freighting will cost for new springs, shocks and struts.

I have chosen to go with the King SSL/Stage 3/Ultra Low Springs and Monroe GT Sport Lowered Struts & Shocks.

Also found out the hard way that the XR6 garnish does not fit the FG XT rear bumper. Anyone have any idea if the G6/G6E garnish fits the XT bumper?

Kind Regards,
Dean

Oh believe me, I know!! Couldn't understand how it didn't fit either! It's like the garnish is too small for the bumper.. Here are some pics:

Was thinking as much! Just put da springs on, zorst, CIA and enjoy the ride! An XT is never going to be anything other than an XT.....

If you want something more exciting, sell it and use the cash to buy a nice AU xr6 - now thats a lot more special that the XT! Just imagine!........variable cam timing, limited slip diff, manual, leather trim, body kit plus more! Get so much more comfort, sports power, and specialties for less money than a bldy xt! No offence KrazeD! :)

Ohhh mad! has it been quite a difficult task or just a bit annoying? Friends keep telling me to get a sub and amp.

Dropped the towbar out because I have no use for it at all and its heavy, looks ugly and just annoys the s**t out of me! Apparently it was pulled off another car (Like an older BA or BF) and shoved onto my car - real amateur job = even more reason I hate it LOL

If it was just a standard towing one, I would have kept it on, but even then I never want to tow anything with my car lol

I'm sorry but that's not true and I took offense to that- there is so much you can do with a car - and personalising it changes it from an XT to your own custom made model.

I like the AU's, and originally wanted one, but parents didn't allow it. But even if I did get an AU, there is only one that I really want that is out there, and it's a standard Futura.

Also I have researched and believe the AU XR6 0-100 times are slower than the FG XT 0-100 times

Sorry to say this mate, but my xt is do much more comfortable, sporty, fuel efficient, faster, safer etc than an au xr6. The only things I don't have from your list is manual and lsd, but that's both being changed in time.

@ dean. It's very fiddly. Unless you get a short head unit you'll have to move it to some place other than tissue box holder. Mines currently in the center console. Was a passion *PAIN* in the a** to sort wiring paths etc

Your putting a manual in an FG?

Anything is possible, but wouldn't that be a rather expensive task?
