There is a LOT more work to get an AU motor to fit in your EF wagon, than to swap a few parts from your EF engine to the EL engine.

Agreed.

But at the moment he is baulking at unbolting and swapping over a few components from one engine to the other.

Not sure if he can manage an AU swap. :D

just one thing with lowering it that much is my exhaust tip scraps in places already so you may have to consider that when you do put your exhaust in

Mate, the Fordmods sticker on the car is a misnomer if you don't give it a go. Just chucking wheels on and lowering it isn't modding anything. Really matey, it is a bloody simple job to put your EL into the car, maybe an hour or two doing it slowly. If you can pull an engine out, you can do the swap......

thats the trouble with women most of the time they dont know what they want, but when they finaly decide what they want they only want it till they get it.

shes on her l's, sounds like your paying for it, tell her she'll get what shes given and should be happy about it. The more you give the more they want
