I've gone a bit over on the initial estimate, as I've bought more aftermarket parts, but I haven't exactly gone crazy there either ...I just wanted to have all bases covered in support of a good final result. Hoping to have the car back by mid-Oct, so I can get started on the interior.

Forgot to mention, lol ...my whole SOHC DEV 5 engine (including Tickford ECU, Chiptorque chip, 2.5" exhaust system etc) will be up for grabs.

 Wiring is almost all done, and car is headed to the exhaust shop tomorrow.

Great build mate, been watching this one for ages, although I may be a little biased to Hot Chilli Red EL XR6's, always wanted to drop a DOHC into mine! Good on you, its looking great

Yeah, the car would have been tuned today, but we got scuppered by a temperamental XCal3 batch tune, and a set of piss-weak car trailer tie-down straps ...will be rebooking the tune for sometime in the next week or so. Still a few things to do and fit up (including painting the cross-overs Black, and changing the plastic coil cover etc etc) ...but should be all done for the next tune attempt
