If you are looking for a good bodied car, you might want to consider the white eb1 monty. I was planning on keeping it and doing it up, but now I have bought the NA that won't be happening. I would like to see this car go to a good home and it is completely stock, unmolestered and very tidy, body has no dings at all and paint is pretty good. It will need a blue slip, but other than that it's good to go!
Just a thought mate?

I may be interested in the white monty Mick. Let me know what dollars you want for it and Ill see whats what.

Details of the Monty are on Page 11 of this thread, and I would probably want around $700 as it sit's now. Sitting in the back yard but still kicks over first go, Oh, it does need a battery though! But I can pull one out of one of the other cars to drive it onto a car float.
I was planning on selling it at the end of Feb once I have the NA running, but if it goes to a good home, it can go now.
Cheers,
Mick

Tell me about it :? I know EB's are a dime a dozen these days, but one in this good nick I thought would be snapped up!
Anyway, this is the set of mags I would prefer, a couple of boys on another forum did some photoshopping for me. The look has really grown on me, even down to the shaved handles

I just did a quick google, burnin customs have moved like 4 times?? I remember they used to be out newie way..

I can only guess that price is for welding bogging etc, not sure if you need to pay more for door poppers etc.

I looked into getting the forrester bagged about a year ago. Burnin quoted me 8g flat to have it on it's belly, they do great work

The search isn't working, but would it be possible to put an i6 OHC / Man box into an NC? I wanted one a ages ago but they were still pretty expensive

It looked good when you had the 100 spokes

The shaved doors look awesome, but I think that doing that would fail a warrant in NZ as how the hell do people open your doors in an accident situation? Anyways, if it's at all legal, then go for it - looks bloody great.

I'd like to get around to doing job like that on the tailgate of the wagon (to aim for complete a*** styling I would only then need to remove a pillar and weld up and shave back the cabin doors... Don't think I'll be going down the whole a*** route, however tempting it may seem...)

they install a button elsewhere on the door/body (front doors normally right behind the mirror) that way its still legal

That's the idea. Was thinking of connecting the latch mechanism for my tailgate to the Ford oval and having the oval twist to open the tailgate. Have had the boot apart many times and know it is simply to get the latch arm going to that position, if only I had more room between the back of the big a*** 6x9's and the exterior panel... Ho hum.

OKay, so you have a button on the front door by the mirror, which makes sense. What about the rears? Anyone have any ideas there?
