30 seconds mate!! This man works fast!

And sam, that front bar is definatly a fairmont one not a futura one. I'd be speaking to them about that soon.

Yeh I already have contacted him. Man it's going to be a b**ch fixing that mistake up... I kind of just blindly trusted that someone who makes bodykits for a lving would know what front bar to send out for a Futura...

I just got off the phone to Peter Haines who I bought the kit off of and he's going to send out the correct front bar at no cost to me and pay for the return postage of the wrong one. Good bloke, very friendly, highly recommend him.
Turns out he saw an EF Futura that had had it's front converted to a Fairmont front and thought that's what Futuras' had as standard so, on hearing that I had a Futura he sent me out a Fairmont front :P

I gotta drive up to a mates place tonight for his 18th so I needed to get all my new gear in so I had some tunes to listen to on the way... A few hours later and it's all in! :D I went a little camera crazy...

Front speakers fitted perfectly...

My monster of a sub out of it's hole... only let down is it's single voice coil...
Image

Testing my new amps... what a freakin mess... thank god I'm not colourblind
Image
Image

Amps mounted in their new places, on the side panels, waiting to go in
Image

Sealed my false front onto my sub box with liquid nails... I really hope I never have to take it all apart again...
Image

Almost done!

Image

All done!!! Yay! Sounds s**t loads better! :D Floor carpet is slightly too big now after the moving around but who cares...

I didn't get any close up pics of my new JVC's in the parcel shelf but you can see them in some of the pictures. They sound nicer and look heaps neater than my 6x9's...

Now all I gotta do is sell all my old gear...

Well it cost me sweet FA and was only meant to be a quick fix while my other sub was being replaced under warranty. But it pumps hard so I haven't bothered upgrading it. I will eventually get a dual voice coil one so I can put a bit more power through it :D

When I get a goddamn break from school work and my job... I'm fitting and painting it myself unless it proves to be an absolute impossible feat which I doubt. My last kit wasn't that hard to fit. But it definately won't be happening until these coming school holidays. Still about 5 weeks away. Will definately post up pics all along the way.
Besides, I need to wait until Peter sends me out the correct front bar...
