planing to, the machines at school don't have 4 jaws so i'll weld some round bar onto it then machine it down and then part the round off once it's machined down

got my firewall plate and pedal box done, sorry pictures are from my phone so they aren't the greatest will get some nice clear ones this afternoon
pedal box first bending it, took alot more than i was exspecting it too    welded in  strengthener plate i turned this down from 25mm bar to 20mm  i then centre drilled the face  then i got a 18mm drill bit and drilled in 35mm  then cut it off, got half way threw it with the parting off tool and the tip snapped  so had to finish it off with a hacksaw after this i made the plate, cut 120 by 100 cut the angle  poilot drilled with a 5mm drill then a 9 then final drilled the 16mm hole  then my mate welded them together cause he had nothing to do as his last day of school today

decided to fit my firewall plate this afternoon, short 5 minute job.... NOT!
plate by it's self   started by cutting the firewall/fiber s**t, made this all look neat,    next pre drilled the holes, didn't get a picture of it then went to put it on the car couldn't get it to slide over the little pipe  eventually got it to get on and sit right, had to slowly crank the screws on with an impact driver and it finally went on and sat right  many swear words were said this afternoon also clear pictures of the pedal box

painted my pedal box tonight and will fit it tomorrow
 made up a design for the centre console due to manual surrounds becoming harder to come by and people more desprate for them, will make up a jig at school and bends some bar around and make it suit design

well i got my pedal box bolt into the car and i started peicing it back together, and i touched the breaks and my interiour lights became brighter and then i could here a ticking noise? so i've checked the earth and started tightening it down but dropped the socket down the back of the dash and cracked the s**t for the day and will let it sit for a little, till i decided to go work on it again

well i spent the last 2 weeks trying to get my car running dad got the auto leckys out today and it's now running, but my bikes gone and f**k it's 2nd gear again so not sure when the converstion will be completed, still need to put the interiour back together

well since putting the car back togethert when the car is off the radio sounds fine but as soon as the motor is running it's gets a static/high piched back noise to it,
any ideas of what it could be? |

yes the car is running, turned out an ignition wire had been damaged but i can't see where the fella fixed it so i'm not sure where it was

well on the weekend brother baught an xr6 for the diff and fuel rail and said if i sold everything i could have what i wanted from it
so i called dibs on the front bar, lights and indicators and tail lights for modifcations, anyway came home from school found the front bar ripped off the car and up a tree, drivers side light smashed, but the indicator was fine and 2 popped tryes, so what did we do? spare set of tyres and went back to the driveway,send me a message about any xr parts that are wanted and will let you know a price and avalibity |

front bar, i orignally planned on using twin lights but when this came up i jump at the idea was thinking of a fibreglass mould for it but when my brother dmaged it with the help of a tree it made my desition easier

things aren't as bad as first seemed,
walked into the carport tonight and found the inner light of the 2 that was on the side of impact was undamaged had a another highbeam light here cause the one on the car had a crack in it,will have a think of how to make up my own mounting, will either be firbreglassed or made up from steel drivers  passenger  chopped the top off and it's currently sitting on the typhoon front bar sorry ii'm using my phone for pictures cause the camera won't work   also scored this for my car

 also found the light surround,, hae most of it and it seems fixable with some time and effort so i'll have the lights done soon also got the wiring loom from the el for the xr lights
