Well here it is, a 1993 Ford EB GLi, stock with the only mod being a EF/EL series thermofans, works when engine required and all the time with aircon on.
everything works minus km gauge, stop at between 128000-129000, previous seller estimates would be at 135000 approx kms, interior is immaculate, just need to give the engine little TLC, fluids, gasket, degreaser etc, doesn't overheat, plenty of power for its series, best of all nice cold aircon!, also has 35% tint with lifetime warranty! plans to keep it stock for now, will replace cluster with a better one with oil pressure, rpm's tacho etc,                 Thoughts?, now need to collect parts for a serpertine belt setup for now and a BBM conversion too in the future, for now running old belt setup (need to replace power steering belt!) till I get the $$$, finally starting work tomorrow so should be able to, mud flaps and front and back sun visors stay on for now (GF likes them!) but will eventually come off, back might stay but front will be removed! anyone, was keen on what you all think.
Taking it to work delivering pizza's, not going to keep driving it for work, plan to buy another cheap car for work, 4cyl etc. cheers, oze-ford.

Someone did a somewhat good job at the thermofans install, though need to mount them properly, they are just sitting there atm.
 Again  Some have expose wiring, so gonna heat shrink/electrical tape them better soon.  From the Distance  Rocket Cover with cork gasket is not good!  Cork Rocker Cover gasket?  Replacing this week!  Anyone know if this is ment for anything, something to do with the added thermofans or something.  looks ok here

hmm yeah bare connections arent fun. but you should be able to find somewhere to mount the relays in a safe place. cork gasket.. rather normal for a eb actually. just get the rubber replacement and she'll be fine and lastly the blue plug.. its a temp sender for the climate control, if optioned. may have a higher spec engine bay loom like mine does as i have that one floating around loose too no harm leaving it loose either serpintine conversion would be fun, but i'd only do it if your accessories are worn out honestly and bbm.. i fail to see the point in doing the conversion. ive driven stock and converted to bbm and didnt like how it made the car drive afterwards from being the log manifold prior. if anything i find the old log manifold easier to work on but its your car and your choice though.. have fun |

Well just replaced the coolant and thermostat after having major overheating problems, turns out the wire from the water temp sensor came off, so there for no auto thermofans, all good now, and coolant is nice and green, though will replace again soon since I got the cheap stuff not nulon etc,
about to do an oil change tonight also. cheers, oze-ford.

Ok so how I totally forgot to post this but one of the previous owner of the car (not sure how many) it for some reason they have put a fair amount of silicon in the cylinder head just under the chain and sprocket?
 Noticed it while changing the rocker cover gasket, which is way better then the cork crap and slightly better then the ef/el gaskets, cost abut at $40 but well worth it, apart from the silicon rocker gear and chain look good just stain from the oil a little. just wondering if this gonna cause me drama's once it falls off, especially when I use oil flush on it.

Hey guys got a trailer for today and tomorrow, today is for the kids Xmas presents, 3 to big for car, and tomorrow a xg engine to play with off slo247 on here,
had a little problem with the trailer I hired having to put a hole in the bumper has its rubbing on it, so need to get a new towbar since the trailer dude said its the wrong one for the car etc? post some pics soon.

Don't think the tounge is movable
 Can see it on the side also,  Will get it fixed soon though, shouldnt be too much?

Well got the engine home, far good drive to where slo247 lives but car made it down and back even though it got hot 10mins from home, but was up the hill on our grand junction road which is steep and long and is a 60-70km road etc, slo247 also gave me a freebie tow tounge off his nf farelane, thanks mate!, will try it on during the week etc,
will post some pictures laterz, giving the.backyard a clean up since me.kids have trashed it lol

Yeah guy ask me if its ok and u said yeah and pushed it on, it only a bumper which replace it and get it fixed, it is a daily driver afterall.

Hey guys was wondering if these older series have a smaller fuel tank, I put
30litres in and it reads at full mark or is there something wrong with me fuel pump.
