Ok maybe not a fair challenge then, that's some serious numbers you two are throwing around... Let me know when you two face off... Would LOVE to see that... And not that I know anything or have much to offer, but if you need an extra hand at any stage let us know... :)

Serious numbers for sure. 18psi, centri blown manual ute vs 15psi turbo auto. Should be fun! Mine should be going together in a month or so, then off to BPS for a tune. BPS will be doing all of the work on Ethan's ute.

Can't wait till I can get the money together to start tinkering in the engine bay... Opens in September... Custom tray when I'm not too lazy and it stops raining lol.

Geez... That's a lot of pressure... Haha I crack myself up... Hilarious. Umm yeah anyways, hope all goes well in the next month for you...

Same here Troy! And not just because the 15psi turbo is mine!

Well, it's been a long time since this thread was updated and there has been some rather interesting changes. The blown I6 is gone, thanks to a workshop who will remain nameless alot of parts have vanished. In better news, a new engine and box have been sourced this week and some major changes are happening. Long story short, this will be a 360+rwkw Naturally Aspirated 5L.

Onto the parts acquired:
Ford Racing M -6010-T50 Cammer block
FRPP CNC C port heads
Billet Bullet Racing cams (250° @0.050 intake, 253° @0.050 exhaust)
Billet crank
Billet I Beam Oliver rods
12.3:1 compression Diamond pistons, gas ported and coated
Roush FR500 inlet manifold
Ford GT rocker gear
Crow springs
Accufab timing gear and billet reluctor wheel
Accufab billet monoblade throttle body

Brand new FG Miami TR6060 gearbox.

To come:
SPEC flywheel
SPEC Stage 3+ clutch
Mal Wood under dash hydraulic clutch
3.73 M86 FG diff
ID1000 injectors
Haltech Platinum Sport 2000
Haltech Flex Fuel Sensor
2x Bosch 044's
Granatelli coilpacks
ARP Flywheel bolts
Twin 3" Exhaust
Custom 1 7/8" primary headers
Battery relocation
Header tank relocation
ABS relocation
Braided fuel lines
Oil cooler
BF rack and Boss 260 power steering lines

Pending bonnet clearance, maybe a reverse cowl. All in all, this will be one hell of a stout street car, that will hold its own on a strip.

Many a tyre will be destroyed. This is a proven 10 second combo in a car 200kg lighter. Much fun will be had pulling the "it's only a cammed 5L" line on HSV's.

Far from it. This combo made 486rwhp with a far from ideal setup. A flash tuned AU ECU, 2" Primary headers and the twin 4" Exhaust is much more suited to the old cars "normal" 700rwkw twin screw blown 5L Modular setup.

So the ute will be running the old setup out of the TerminatorS?

Cheers for the message on facey, been a while since I have checked the forums. So what's the expected first run date? In a hurry, or just take it steady and get it right the first time?
