42lb injectors + 76mm Maf are in and running, im still working on light stumbles when cold but its nearly tuned good.

Running 10psi + safe 'timing' tune (remember auto needs looking @ etc etc) with ebc connected i did a few hand timed runs.

0-60= 2.17sec
0-80= 4.1sec
0-100= 5.84sec

I slowly tuned it tweaking here n there (still room for more timing)

Increasing timing from 3500 to 5000 (12-15) and (16-18)
Car felt like it had more top end and didn't feel flat just a surge, i set boost to wastegate spring (10psi) but the ebc was removed and took her for a spin.

0-60= 2.3sec
0-80= 3.78sec
0-100= 5.3sec

I have a semi c.a.i fitted and im reinstalling the ebc with possibly more timing down low will see how far i can push it on 10psi (learning my limits)

I really have to sort the auto as its going 'soft' and over heating during my testing.

Keeping you posted.

When you're changing your hi and low injector slopes, are you also changing "Injector Breakpoint", "Injector Offset vs Voltage" and "Cranking Fuel PW vs ECT"?

By memory, these parameters should be changed by the same % increase as your injector increase.

Yh mate when i first fitted the 42's i used the std maf and set all the parameters it idled good and drove fine, it was when i fitted the C&L Maf that i had a billion and one issue it really is a s**t maf to try and tune.

None of the FMS 42lb injector settings work with this maf and to top it off i have to go up and down three flights of stairs in my unit just to change a single setting, tbh im pretty happy with myself that ive got it to this stage while im in this condition.

Believe it or not without the constant help and support from dad and capare id of abandoned this weeks ago, they are right too about keeping my mind focused/occupied.

Thnx scaffy.

I've not yet tuned anything with a C&L yet, but I've heard the same thing from a few people. The best experience I've had is with 90mm Lightning MAF. If you can get your hands on one of these puppies, it would be well worth a go. Out of interest, which EEC are you using?

1DEC could not run onthe 1DGA bin. 1DEC runs on the 2DDA or 2DCA strategy

Really? My tow car's 1DEC also runs a chip with a modded 1DGA bin and seems to work fine. I picked up 12hp everywhere with the changes I made too (the motor is otherwise 99% standard). Maybe the Moates gear is more flexible than the Tweecer in that regard?

Greg the moates gear DOES run 1dga bin on a 1dec i know because ive tried it, ran it for a week then i switched back (for some reason i thought xr8 ecu's had better things in them, they dont).

Latest vid me and a few mates with 3/4 full tank of 98.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aGttud8X52o

Its got more timing in it lower in the rev range now and it picks up alot better, still have the ebc to rehook up and test.

Booking car in at the trans shop next week to see whats up with the overheating during long drives on hot days etc.
