Looks good IMO, it might be the look of them against the badging that is making you unsure of them.
They will probably look out of place for a few days but will grow on you the more you see it

Got the lighting wired up for the chrome handle backlights. Worthwhile mod IMO, found on some european cars and it's relatively cheap and looks a million bucks at night.

Had a spare coolant bottle lying around, so i decided to give it a go at cleaning it and if it came out well id put it on the car. Didn't manage to get all of the crap off, only around 80% as you can see:
  Also got a woodgrain shifter surround:  Cheers.

What did you use to clean bottle? I've tried CLR (Calcium Lime Rust) remover with little success - Looks like you did better...
Radiator flush or something? |

A mix of petrol, bleach and dishwashing liquid (not all at once). Takes a few hours to get good results. Mostly just elbow grease. You need to shake around whatever fluid is in there to make he crap 'flake' off.

Yeah - I even tried adding metal fillings to the mix to add a bit of abrasion... Must have just been a too far gone bottle...

You just need to take out the rubber stoppers near the boot hinges(stops the boot hitting ther car) and the boot opens up more so the struts come out easy. I did it the hard way when i took them out

Well it's been a while but a couple of minor things to add (that took me a loooong time to put in)
Firstly a chrome shifter shaft:  A lot of effort for 3cm of chrome!! And I illuminated my external door handles with LED's similar to the method used for the internal handles:   They come on when i press unlock on my remote and switch off alongside the other interior lights. Pictures don't do it justice - as with all the time taking pictures of LED's! Cheers.

Also a few things on the to do list (looking for cheap ones at the moment/waiting on people selling)
EL fairmont grille, with middle tabs removed and possibly filled with mesh NF turning lamps, hooked up as foglights DF/L or NF/L chrome number plate surround Add more led's to interior 'black holes' e.g. cup holder, centre console, under radio surround etc. Would like to be able to see things in those places (like coins) at night. The light up top only lights the rear. Also add lighting to boot. Cheers.

Yes, owning dark cars really makes it harder to keep clean. This was after 30 mins of rain if the span of one fortnight.

Will be watching closely for updates on the next mods Yeah me either, original idea A bloody pain to do something like this when your not following a guide though! SO many problems, like an LED deciding the ground itself to a bolt and get negative power so it wouldn't turn off with the interior circuit (finding this out as your walking inside - door all assembled!) Nevertheless another hour of so fixed that.
