This grill has black mesh. Was originally aluminium finish but did not blend well with the chrome surround and the dark paint.

Thanks SWC, I will check out the darker mesh as well when I get around to it.

Generic mod today. Added LEDS into the indicator lenses as daytime running lights... They turn of whenever the keys are on.

That looks awesome matt black!
Some darker tint on the windows and more dumpage will set it off I reckon, great work

Thanks mate. Dark window tint is on the cards... But more dumpage would put it way to low. Only has about 11cms clearance at the bars

For the lights?

You can't really tell they are on because of the camera. But I'm not one to deny a photo op

Got a day permit so the EL has come with me to work today. first time it has seen the road, for more than 5 minutes, in almost a year and a half...

took it to get a rego check before work and the result was.... FAIL!

Fit boot lock - When assfaces tried to break in they bent the boot lock out of shape so i just took it out and havent replaced it yet... i was unaware that not having a boot lock made a car unroadworthy

Extend tailpipe - cut the exhaust tip of to fit the rear bar, am planning on putting a dump tip on

Exhaust leaks - apparently near the muffler and needs to be welded... as good a reason as any to get a whole new exhaust system... any suggestions on brand, am pretty sure i have a redback on there at the moment

Rear springs loose - easily fixed, but i need to put some stock spring back in to get it over the pits anyhow

Vehicle ride height - :(!!! will put the stock springs in just to get it over the pits

R.H sttering rock boot split - how much is this going to set me back, or is it something i can fix?

Centre seat belt - not an issue, am buying a donor fairlane in the next week or so for bonnet, climate control, dual airbags, and seatbelt

Battery insecure - forgot to bolt it down as i just chucked in the battery from the AU to get it around this today.

And the winner of the failures was... i dont have LPG stickers on my number plates... UMMM pretty sure i dont have a gas system... and the mechanic lectured me, until i stopped him and said im not running a gas sytem. so he popped the boot saying yes i did.. was his face red when he realised it was just the spare tyre... idiot.
