G'day,
I need as new airbox lid for my 5.0L NCII Fairlane. Unfortunatley I just noticed that mine was severely damaged from a pretty big LPG backfire the other night, and it is split in about 3 places. Hey Mate,
The airbox lids from the ef and el 6 clyinders should be ok to use, you will just need to bolt your maf up to it. I just replaced an ef v8 one that was broken with a lid from an el 6 cylinder.

Bump!
Here is a couple of pics of the airbox lid that was damaged. I'm still chasing one if anyone has one lying around. I was going to try and fit a pod filter, but that was a bad idea  Perhaps some other time when I have all the necessary bits'n'pieces.

I've been looking for an excuse to head south for a Friday night at kk's.  I'll just make sure i've got nothing planned next weekend and will let ya know. Aww! nearly forgot how much you want for it?

I have 2, both EECV if that isnt a prob. I am now building a box for my POD as the damn FPR is now in the way. Will be at Harries this friday night. Sorry i didnt see this earlier, have had 2 for a while

A tank of LPG and a couple of coffee's will probably still be cheaper than a replacement from FORD. Now clear this up for me being a Newie boy, is Harry's and KK's at the same place 
Might take one of your hands as well Brett, I like to have spares especially until I get my backfiring sorted We'll work something out, matt may want to keep his now there are other options?
I'm gunna contact Castlegreyskull and see if we can make a newie cruise to KK's happen, might as well make a night out of it

sorry to highjack your thread , but brett you still want these mirrors if so if i get my car fixed friday i will bring them up for the swop over ??, thats if the weather is good and a few people turn up to do the job as one will be Paulmac.

Don't worry matt, it was lucky I had a back-up plan
