You can buy aftermarket copies for like 1500 with tyres!! where as originals are 2 g's plus - and you have to buy tyres!!

Yeah, copies I can get for $1100 with tyres but originals is what I am really after.

2g for originals, they really arnt worth that mcuh imo. i just bought a set of mint ba gt mags with sp9000 tyres at abou 80% tread for $800. They suit a ef/el awesome too.

believe it or not from a big wheel and tyre shop up here in newcastle called bowers suspension. www.bowers.net.au. I feel sorry for the bloke who traded them in off his ba, they must have only gave hiom about 500.

yep i was stoked, i was just about to layout $2700 for some 19inch xhp boost when she said she had genuine ba gts for 800 with good tyres. All up come to $1100 including hub adapters and also came with teh original wheel nuts and lock nut. And the leftover money is going into getting the turbo bolted on.

Speaking of which, where is a good place that have tyre and wheel packages, on a plans, and actually fit pre-AU falcons?!

nope I know for a fact that there is a dealership with 6 in stock they have taken them off the system though. and you can get em in sydeny landed without rubber for $675 each.

I ended up selling them for $2k, and they were about a year old. They guy didnt argue on price because he, as I found out, there are no more new sets left. Because I bought the last brand new available in Australia. 
And yes, my phone bill is bloody massive paying for all the phone calls to find them. And if Ford is trying to sell them for $675 each, they are ripping you off. Late 2004 Ford started dumping these wheels to dealers at about $130 to $150 per rim. Tis the reason why alot of Ford dealers were selling GT + SP3000 packages for $1800 to $2000 at the time. And they disappeared bloody quickly too.

$2000 was more than what I was willing to pay. great that you sold them for that though.
Like everything else in this world, it is only worth as much as someone wants to pay for it and at the moment there are plenty of people who will pay top dollar for them.
