I have a spare ba alternator and was asked if I had a spare el one.
I was then told the au internals fit the el alternator housing which had me wondering, will ba alternator bits fit a el housing?

More than likely not, different manufacturers. ok thanks for the reply, I ended up giving my mate the alternator anyway because he only needs the regulator off the back, its for an el bush basher so he didn't wanna purchase a $50 brand new reg if he didn't need to

For future reference the regulator fitted fine from b series to el alternator.
