Hey guys

have just picked up a early 04 BA XT Wagon i have heard you can put in a AUX via a cable behind the fuse box.

Is there a way of doing it without getting the adapter from a shop as i have been to many and they dont know what i am on about. i found them on ebay but i want it now not late next week when it arive's

i am good with electronics and have hundreds of diffrent cables that i can use.

If anyone has the details for the pin outs , Ie what color is what then i can make up a cable myself

thanks in advance for any help

Hi mate, Fairly sure you need a male wiring harness into the factory input. Not sure how many pin, after that it goes into 2 RCA's (red + white). Then get an attachment from 2 RCA's into 3.5mm jack. ... 766wt_1037

There's an ebay link if you're interested as to what it looks like. Probably the easiest way to just buy it, considering the cables will cost a few bucks each anyway, so for $19 it's alright. I haven't done it personally, i just wired in myself a whole new system because the factory system is sh*t haha. Goodluck.
