Hi all, I just bought a BA Fairmont. It has the FG GT front end with fog lights ready to be installed,do Fairmonts have the loom required for the fog lights or do I have to make one?

My BF Xr has the wiring so I'd reckon a fairmont would... Can you see the plugs behind the bump or taped into the original loom there somewhere?

Also if you pop the button surround out in the car you'll probably find the plug clipped into the back of the blank I'd reckon...

Cheers,
Tim

My traction control switch is on the ICC, so I don't have any blank buttons on the dash..

Left hand side of the column? The turbo has the TC on the ICC too... The left hand side of the column then has a blank and the fog light switch...

If it'd have had the low series ICC then the TC and fog lights would have been there together...

Cheers,
Tim

No, it doesn't. So I suppose I would have to make a place for the button

Cheers,
Tim

The Fairmont Ghia has cornering lights which come on with the indicators.

Early BA Fairmont Ghias were fitted with Foglights, these were changed over to cornering lights very early in the run. Story around that they were also changed on some existing cars.

I doubt that the Fairmont is fitted with the Driving light loom.

Any ideas on how to make a loom?
