Now I noticed I can turn my headlight switch from off back to a white dot, im guessing its the auto headlight feature. But for some reason it doesnt do anything at all, also my interior light doesnt work unless I unlock the car or manually switch it on by the button. Now im thinking these issues are caused by the same thing? Like the sunlight sensor thingy, or has someone broken the headlight /indicator switch and swapped with a fairmont one in which case my car doesnt have auto headlights?

Got it wrong, the dot means off, it says auto on it if you turn it past the off position

Forgot about how fordmods is only about e series mods and problems. will have to wait until b series fords turn 15

What is the actual problem?
Do your lights automatically come on and never turn off? Or are you just scared of automatic lights? |

In the BA wiring diagrams, the interior light on high series does use the solar sensor. They call it battery saver.
I would suggest you'd be right getting a new sensor. |

Yeah thats exactly what I was thinking just needed another opinion, the car came with warranty so hopefully I can get it fixed with a few other small issues
