looking to put cruise control in my AUII ute or is it more trouble than its worth!?

i did it.
Just brought the whole lot off ebay $150 and it came out of a wreck and took about 2 hours to put in not very hard and worked straight away.
Good for cruising the highway.

There is a short loom which you replace... Has a big orange plug above the accelerator pedal and feeds out into the engine bay... The new loom will have an extra plug for the cruise module and an extra plug for the back up sensor which screws into the master cyclinder...

Then you just replace the combo switch and add in the cruise buttons under the steering wheel... Hardest part will be removing the airbag (special 5 pointed star bolts (not torx))...

removing the air bag isn't really that hard , right size flat blade will get the bolts out
