Just wandering if someone can help me...

At the rear of my engine, behind manifold, pass side head off the loom is a ground wire, I dont think it was conected from previous owner, or ive undone it unknowingly...

Anyway, where abouts would this go? The accel cable bracket? The manifold? The firewall?
If I leave it disconnected (only short term) will this ruin anything, have any longterm effects?
