HI all

hope someone can help... I removed the auto trans today to do a manual coversion in my XR8....
When I noticed a loss single wire hanging with and comes out of the engine bay loom with the starter motor wire.... It is Orange with fabric heat sheild on it....
I did manage to find a broken terminal on the very back of the intake manafold...
Please help...

It sounds like the O2 Sensor Earth - Worth fixing and putting back there if it is.

I cant 100% confirm as I dont have my E series diagrams here but thats the sounds...

Nope. That one is critical to be connected directly to the engine. It ensures that the ecu has the same gnd reference as the o2 sensors
