HI all
hope someone can help... I removed the auto trans today to do a manual coversion in my XR8.... When I noticed a loss single wire hanging with and comes out of the engine bay loom with the starter motor wire.... It is Orange with fabric heat sheild on it.... I did manage to find a broken terminal on the very back of the intake manafold... Please help... Thanks Barnzey

It sounds like the O2 Sensor Earth - Worth fixing and putting back there if it is.
I cant 100% confirm as I dont have my E series diagrams here but thats the sounds... |

Nope. That one is critical to be connected directly to the engine. It ensures that the ecu has the same gnd reference as the o2 sensors
