Not sure if this will work for others, but just in case I will describe what I did to simply and quickly fix my stupid EF central locking which was making the doors repeatedly lock when I tried to unlock them. When I was searching for answers on how to fix this, I never came across this solution.

I found the offending door lock servo and removed the 5mm diameter rivets holding it on the inner door skin. I used 3mm machine screws to reattach the servo in the original holes, but moved the servo upwards in the door frame by about 2-3mm. Now my central locking works perfectly. Repair took about 20 minutes start to finish. The hardest part was getting the nuts started on the machine screws, very difficult to reach.

I assume the factory mounting holes in the door where the servo is originally riveted on were slightly out of place in relation to the door lock mechanism, and the servo couldn't fully unlock the door. By moving the servo slightly closer to the door lock mechanism, it can now fully unlock the door and the servo is happy. The mounting holes could easily be elongated if additional movement is needed, but I didn't need to.
